Your eligible dependents, who must reside in the U.S., are as follows:

 
Eligible Dependents

ALL PLANS including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 

You may cover: (1) your lawful spouse; and (2) any dependent child of yours or of your spouse who is under age 26.

The term “Dependent Child” includes your biological child, legally adopted child, stepchild and your dependent grandchild who lives with you at least 50% of the time.  A dependent child who is no longer eligible for this plan, due to attainment of the maximum age, is eligible to continue benefits under federal continuation provision (COBRA). A child age 26 or older who is incapable of self-sustaining employment due to physical or mental handicap is also considered eligible.

IN ADDITION, the following plans allow an Employee to cover a grandchild according to state law:

  • ALL PLANS (Grandchild who is a dependent of the Employee and is claimed on federal tax return.)
